At this moment Riau community has noticed that MoF currently conduct evaluation to review the permit held by PT. RAPP in Kampar Peninsula. The review aims to find out whether the permit that has been given to PT. RAPP gave bad impact to the environment either to community or give the opposite impact. Today, PT. RAPP existence causes conflict with community in Teluk Meranti village and other villages in Kampar Peninsula. It supposed to be well spread the information that HCVF assessment should be conducted before the forest cut down. On the contrary PT. RAPP has started cutting down the trees. So what is the motive for this public consultation?
